Captain, Joya, Leila, Presenter, Qualla, Scotty, Tetra, Vanna, Zola, ~ 09

``Presenter: We are privileged to have Zola with us, as so much has been happening, and the skills of the Teams and the crews have put on a live professional show. ``Zola: We all had been extra busy, because Kirin was away taking his exams and we had to cover for him, but fortunately we now have some extra staff, as we are a lot busier these qefs. However we were hindered, by the threat of the ash cloud which was coming our way and we had to protect our 3 Saucers, and the Vulcan is too big to hide. ``Presenter: So what had to happen? ``Zola: I thank the Oligarchy for their help with getting agreements with the working parties, to make it all happen. They managed a weeks work within in 3 qefs, and I personally thank all the workers.

``Presenter: You managed to get a short trip to Algol and have a mini break, but you had a small problem. ``Zola: Zaa. The problem is with the Cepheusians, they just go around nicking things to make other things work and never consider replacing them. This was the second time this had happened and this problem was the rudder. The whole duct was missing, as they had bypassed the circuitry. ``Presenter: You managed to have it fix in Algol? ``Zola: Zaa: They made a new one from the plans. ``Presenter: You came back home, and within a qef a distress beacon caused an emergency? ``Zola: The problem was that an Eagle was and took a 2 qef trip to find it. Cirrus 1 also went to the rescue, and it took them over 2 qefs at Mach 10, whereas an Eagle 19 can only do Mach 8. ``Presenter: The news was devastating? ``Zola: There were no survivors and my thoughts go out to their families. ``Presenter: Where is it now? ``Zola: ``It took our crew a very long qef at Mach 9, and 29-hours later they arrived back in Algol. Neither can you go so fast in piggyback mode owing to the drag. They are having a break there, before returning home. ``Presenter: It is a fantastic story of a tragic event, never achieved before in the Cosmos. Please come in and see us again.

{Captain's Place ~ 2 + Qualla}
``Qualla: I am concerned about the lack of facilities for Gina on board the S172 and S182. ``Captain: I am not surprised, and the S172 was a mining Saucer, which was for Bears only. ``Qualla: Basically we need a rack type shelf to support a carry cot in the Galley. ``Captain: You Cats had all better get together and come up with a full report, including a list of alterations. ``Qualla: We will, and that means a new quoin in both Saucers. ``Captain: I agree and I will contact Space Cavern. ``Qualla: I will arrange a meeting with us Cats only, as there will be a new baby Cat soon. ``Captain: You mean it is confirmed. ``Qualla: Absolutely. I will arrange a full meeting for all Cats at Vanna's. ``Captain: Zaa, and that will include the Cat Elders.

Chamber of Joya, E9 ~ 3}
``Joya: How did you two get on together on your Algol trip? ``Leno: We are different in many ways, but Tetra has certain strengths that I need to experience. ``Tetra: Sometimes he will not talk to you, which is irritating, but he does pull me back with a symbolic anchor at times. ``Joya: I have had approval from your parents Leno, so your application is approved, but going to Earth is a completely different story from Algol, and I can speak from experience. So I want you two to come back and see me on your return. [Zaa's]

{Vanna's Trullo, Meeting ~ 5}
``Scotty: They were in deep space for 5 qefs, and that in itself is an amazing test of endurance. ``Tetra: Most people would have gone mad in that time and two and a half qefs from the nearest planet. ``Zola: It made a lot of difference as they had much more room in the Vulcan to move around in. ``Leila: I hear that the Captain will receive 75% of the salvage rights, so there will be bonuses coming. ``Vanna: The problem is a further 2 qefs delay to go to Earth, especially as they are not yet back. A message off to Keith. In the meantime, we need to hear your recommendations to improve the quoins on the Saucers. ``Scotty: Blimey.
