Alien Escapade º Episode 0637 - The Eagle Crisis 5: Captain, Cavie, Dalbir, Dux, Farle, Malcolm, Jarry, Kirin, ~ 08 {V001 Citadel in flight to Cirrus 1 ~ 8} - [+ Eagle] ``Jarry: We have re-confirmation, that we are to dock with cirrus 1, and they will be on top of us. ``Captain: Confirm. All stop, I can see the Cirrus, but cannot see the Eagle. ``Dalbir: It is probably hiding on the other side. ``Malcolm: Releasing hatches. ``Kirin: She is drifting in, but you cannot see anything. [Clonk] Docked. Pressurise hatches. ``Captain: We cannot keep meeting like this? ``Dux: I agree, and zenden everyone. Take us both up and drop us down on top of the Eagle all on thrusters. There is no feel to this, so you just have to get it right, otherwise we will go bouncing. So may I take control Captain? ``Captain: Zaa. ``Malcolm: Another triple docking. ``Dalbir: I have the cameras on. ``Dux: 1spec, down thrusters. 1 spec, Port, thrusters. Now we wait. [Clonk] Malcolm lock hatches. Dalbir and Malcolm, get suited up. Pressurize the escape hatch to high pressure. Now we wait, as it will take a while to build up the pressure. Keep the third engine running normally. ``Captain: We would never have known about any of this. ``Jarry: Pressure 75%. ``Dux: It has to go to 90%. We cannot take any risks. ``Captain: I am getting to like the Vulcan. ``Dux: This Vulcan will do anything, but they were too costly to produce, and ran out of skilled operators. ``Jarry: 94%. ``Dux: Malcolm and Dalbir, be ready for anything, when you open the Eagle hatch manually. We do not know what has caused this failure. [Zaa's] ``Malcolm: Opening hatches. --- Blimey one wants to be sick, they are all strapped into their seats and have passed over. I will break down the Upper Deck door as I cannot get any form of electrics to work. [Bang, Bang, bang] The three crew, have also passed over still in their seats. ``Dalbir: It appears to be a catastrophic electrical failure, and I am off to check the engines. --- It is all okay and they have fuel. ``Malcolm: I have found the control room, and there appears to have been an explosion of some form as everything is in different shades of burnt black. ``Captain: Okay, do not touch anything and get out of there and return to Vulcan. ``Malcolm: Confirmed. ``Dalbir: Confirmed. ``Captain: Dux the crew and I, have had a confab and we are going on to take Eagle 10 home. Therefore my thanks to Farle and Jarry for the drinks; and to Cavie and Kirin on getting us here. Well done Malcolm and Dalbir, going aboard the Eagle. Not forgetting Dux, to be able to achieve this. This is an historical event and we all deserve some recognition. We have sent messages of condolences to Algol, and have advised them of the bad news. Eagle 19, is on its way home. We too will make a move very shortly, and wish you well on your flight home to Cepheus. [Zaa's] Let us all get underway folks. ``Kirin: Cirrus has undocked. ``Malcolm: Hatches secured. ``Captain: Set a course for Algol and get Tetra to plot us. ``Kirin: Captain shall we start at Mach 4? ``Captain: We will fly at a tilt-up attitude to compensate for the drag, so make it happen. ``Jarry: It will take well over a qef to get to Algol. ``Captain: I have control. Mach 8. ``Jarry: It is reading Mach 7. ``Captain: Mach 10. ``Jarry: Now reading Mach 9. ``Captain: Agreed. [26-Hours later] ``Jarry: I have new coordinates and you are dropping Eagle west of their Dock at their maintenance depot. You should have the plans on your data screen. `Kirin: Zarfs. ``Captain: They have confirmed that the Dock is closed, and the Apron has been cleared. ``Jarry: They have marked out on the ground, where they would like us to detach the Eagle. ``Captain: You follow me through Kirin. ``Jarry: Alt 5Km and 20Km to run. ``Captain: Full stop. ``Jarry: 23º Port. ``Captain: We now wait as she will slowly sink down on her own, with up thrusters on. [Bump, bump, squeak, bump] Release hatches. Lift-off and we will land on SP7. Dropping down. Down. Power down. Well folks you have all been brilliant. Let us all go and celebrate and I will pick up the whole tab. ``Kirin: And our Hotel bill? ``Captain: Within reason anything you like. Actually, they should be paying for all of us.
