Alien Escapade º Episode 0392 - The Ultimatum: Deputy, E1 Gera, E2 Qualla, E3 Jota, E4 Udal, Exec, Kara, Secretary, Sheriff, Treasurer, Yafo, ~ 11 {Elders Committee Meeting - Inquiry + Space Dock Committee + Sheriff ~ 9} ``Elder 3: This is a formal hearing as to ascertain what can be done and the lessons to be learned to prevent this from happening in the future. ``Elder 1: We would like to ask a few questions. ``Elder 4: Where were you all when these incidences occurred? ``Deputy: I was in my office. ``Sheriff: Did anyone inform you what was going on? ``Deputy: Qaa. ``Sheriff: Do you not think that is a bad thing? ``Deputy: There are minor incidences which I leave to the Mob and emergency services. ``Elder 4: Where were you when all this was happening? ``Secretary: I was on leave. ``Elder 4: Can anyone answer the intercom? ``Secretary: Zaa. ``Elder 1: What about you Treasurer. ``Treasurer: I am not needed all the time, and only stand in when no one else is available. The paperwork and paying the bills and so on, can be easily kept up to date. ``Elder 1: There will be a 10 unit break, whilst we decide what action needs to be taken. [Break] ``Elder 2: A primary report after this hearing today, we are all flabbergasted, and disappointed in the way you have conducted yourselves, although you have a responsible job to do. We have also received many complaints, about your lackadaisical attitude. I now ask Jota to bring in Yafo. ``Elder 3: I will fetch him. --- ``Elder 2: Therefore, under section 34 of your contract, I hereby appoint an independent advisor who has full authority to do whatever is needed. ``Exec: I accept, but who is it? ``Elder 2: I appoint Yafo [Rumble] and he has unlimited powers subject to approval. ``Deputy: He has no idea on how to run a Space Dock. ``Elder 2: Nor do you. Moreover, you will give him your fullest co-operation, and he is in charge! ``Yafo: Zibo all. Secretary I need a top level security pass quin, and all complaints are to come to me first and arrange another desk. Put me on the pipe system and take everyone else off other than the Exec. ``Secretary: Zaa Yafo. ``Elder 3: Meeting closed. ``Yafo: You will find me in the Space Dock Restaurant. [The Space Dock Committee rush away with the news that Yafo is now in charge] {Oligarchy Conference Room ~ 6} ``Yafo: I can only say zaffre all. It was a surprise when Qualla came and asked me would I like the task. ``Gera 1: This will give you the freedom you need, but be nice to everyone. ``Jota 3: I agree, you must not get flippant with anyone. ``Udal: Please submit all problems in the normal way, so we will sort them out. ``Yafo: I can see that now, and zaffre for giving me another chance. Incidentally, with your approval, I will scrutinize everything over the coming weeks. ``Gera 1: That is what we need you to do. We need you to get up to Intergalactic Space Port Standards, which mean more changes and expansion of Space Dock. ``Yafo: Will you agree to move the East Ring way section over by another 6 metres? ``Qualla: Zaa. Talk to Tetra, as it can go in the plans for the extension. ``Sheriff: Any problems, call us in. ``Yafo: I will, and I have some ideas, so I need regular visits. ``Sheriff: I will get something sorted out. ``Yafo: I also need a new computer system, which means Scotty? ``Udal: Approved, and Scotty knows the procedure. ``Yafo: And Urga, for an immediate change in auditors? ``Udal: You are going mad, but I agree. I will make it happen. ``Yafo: We have not discussed my fee? ``Udal: I will get it approved at the next committee meeting. {Space Dock Restaurant ~ 2} Yafo: They have done it! ``Kara: Wow, that is brilliant. ``Yafo: I am now in charge of everything, which includes you! ``Kara: Zaa, sir. ``Yafo: I trust that you will terminate my contract? ``Kara: Owing to special circumstances, I think it can be waived. ``Yafo: Good. Can I have croak beans and a rock cake quin? ``Kara: I will make that two, Boss! --- So what happens now? ``Yafo: We wait for the fun to start. --|-- ``Secretary: Excuse me please, Yafo here is your security pass and your piper.
