Alien Escapade ººº Episode 0039 - The Convincement: Leila, Mark, Morse, Sandy, Wendy, ~ 05 {Wendy’s Bungalow ~ 2} ``Wendy: Both of us need to get our Wills updated again! And Jamie will take over as Executor of my Will. I will have some clauses added, in case we cannot get back. ``Leila: Does Jamie know? ``Wendy: No, but he knows Sandy and Mark. You may meet him at the swim tonight. ``Leila: So we could end up as missing persons? ``Wendy: Exactly, and your brother would tell the police again. So how about you? ``Leila: I think my brother is too risky, under the circumstances, so I need someone who is independent. I do have an Auntie and Uncle; they may agree to do it. I will go and see them shortly. ``Wendy: Okay, I will pick you up at 20H00. All you will need is a towel. ``Leila: Fine. ``Wendy: You will have to fill in a simple form and pay £5 as a visitor, and I will sign you in. ``Leila: Nothing else to know about? ``Wendy: Nope, within ten minutes, you will not even think about it. Anyway, we are so brown, we will be the talk of the club. Hopefully Mark and Sandy will be there! If so we will all go to the restaurant afterwards, but I will only have a soft drink, although they want to eat and go to bed on a full stomach. ``Leila: How odd! {Pizza Restaurant + Mark + Sandy + Leila + Wendy ~ 4} ``Mark: So how was it? ``Leila: Fine, no problems, it just takes a little getting used to it, other than the water was on the cold side. ``Mark: We keep complaining about it, especially as the numbers are dropping off. ``Sandy: How come you are both so brown? ``Wendy: We are as brown as Belinda is. ``Mark: You can do better than that! ``Wendy: I did explain to you months ago, where we have been going, but you did not believe me! ``Sandy: I know, but no one else does, either! ``Leila: That is good news, but you are all wrong! ``Mark: So what planet have you been on? ``Leila: Cassiopeia. ``Mark: Where is that? ``Wendy: Look it up. ``Leila: It is near the North Pole Star. The heat up there has been over +54ºC and we all have to go and do daily fire watch. ``Wendy: Everyone does it, as it is compulsory even for the children. ``Mark: It would certainly cut down many of our forest fires, and the devastation, if we all did daily fire walks. ``Leila: Absolutely. ``Wendy: Agreed: ``Sandy: You are also talking differently! ``Wendy: Really? ``Leila: It is like learning another language. ``Mark: So what language is that? ``Wendy: Cassiopeian. ``Mark: When are you off again? ``Wendy: Within the next few days, and it looks like it will be sooner rather than later. Therefore, I will be grateful if you can do the honours for us again, please. ``Mark & Sandy: Sure. [Next Day] ``Wendy: I am thinking with your approval, we could go home sooner. ``Leila: I agree, so send them a signal now please. ``Wendy: Okay. [Morse transmission Out - Wendy] ‘--- /…/---’. You are getting the bug for this? ``Leila: I think that my friends here no longer have much to talk about, as I am on a different wavelength, and they cannot comprehend it. So it is no good even trying to convince them. ``Wendy: ``What about your boyfriend? ``Leila: No chance, same as yours! ``Wendy: I agree. I did not like him that much anyway. ``Leila: He had his uses at times. What is the time delay in getting a response back? ``Wendy: It takes about an hour each way, as long as Dad is up. ``Leila: So you never fancied Jamie, but I thought it was intimate? ``Wendy: Never. I have rented the old cottage starting in three weeks time. It is on a main lane with local passing traffic, and it backs onto farmland. Therefore, we do not need to tell Ted where it is until we are back safely here on Earth. ``Leila: Can you take me to see it please, in case we get split up or we need diversion tactics? ``Wendy: Sure and good thinking. Let’s do that now?. ``Leila: Sure. [Next Day] ``Wendy: I have already started packing and I am taking most of my clothes, and a few books and my old laptop. ``Leila: I am also taking my statue and a few of my dolls, and some books, not forgetting my bikini. ``Wendy: I will bring my laptop, as it is about five years old.
