Episode 0934 - The Vulcans:

{Cepheus Hotel Restaurant ~ 9} - [Breakfast time]
``Vanna: Morning folks? ``Zola: Where have you been all night? ``Vanna: We have just got back from a planet, now called Alias, near Draco. ``Sheriff: This has been an amazing long flight. ``Tetra: And we have found the Cartel. ``Sheriff: The Chief will be quinned. ``Albi: Where is Draco? ``Tetra: I will explain later, after we have had some fresh nourishment. ``Selina: I am absolutely amazed. ``Vanna: It took us over 8 hours to get back here, on a high velocity run, and we have only had time for a snooze.

``Master: So can we go in and get them? ``Sheriff: Qaa chance and wait for the reports to be written up before you start jumping to conclusions. ``Albi: I see you have found a Vulcan? ``Vanna: Zaa, two of them. ``Albi: Two? ``Selina: So what is the order of events for today?

``Cheb: I have agreed to look after the working Vulcan V007, and you will take home V008, which is in bits. Therefore we have some logistics to arrange, and a double flight plan. You can go home late this evening. So would you all like to come for a local tour and I will show you around our works. [Zaa's]

``Vanna: I suggest that we all go our own separate ways this evening. That means Leila and Malcolm; Tetra and Albi; Sadi and Cheb; Selina and Master; Zola and Vanna; The Sheriff can seek his new friends at the force, as he has a lot of new local interest to talk about. We will come back and pursue the Cartel, but it must be financially supported by Cepheus and jointly funded by Cassiopeia. We also need some form of court order to invade another constellation, as you can now see from experience, it is already a very expensive trip. ``Sheriff: I concur, and I will be making a favourable report back to the Chief. ``Vanna: Any more drinks or can we all make a move?

``Vanna: My lovely Vulcan V004. ``Cheb: I have flown her and she is nice. ``Master: What do you have in mind? ``Cheb: We use V007 to pick up V008 and take her up to Cosmo. I will bring you all back down here in V007 she can stay next to V004. You can return shortly and pick up V007. ``Vanna: I have a better idea. I will take V004 home on next trip and leave V007 here. ``Cheb: Certus. ``Master: Agreed. Let us go and look at V006. ``Tetra: You are making some progress. ``Cheb: It is a part time job, but we will be able to get the Inspector in shortly to approve the structure. ``Vanna: Send a mail to Cepheus Parts Salvage, saying we are on our way. ``Cheb: Certus. I will file a flight plan as we are on the outskirts of their control zone.

{Cepheus Parts Salvage ~ 6} - [V008]
``Cheb: V007 to Salvage. ``Bod: Go ahead V007. ``Cheb: Dropping down to pick up V008 over. ``Bod: Confirmed. ``Master: Talk me through this! ``Cheb: Certus. Dropping down, 5,4,3 [Clonk] Securing Hatches. ``Sadie: Hatches secured. ``Cheb: Lifting off, but always start with 60% power, and wait for her to gain potential for lift off to commence. She will eventually ascend. ``Tetra: You mean it can take 2 units, before she lifts? ``Cheb: Zaa, we are on maximum weight and the Vulcans are very heavy. ``Sadie: Interesting. ``Tetra: Now she is lifting. Cheb: 70% power. ``Cheb: It will go when it is ready and not before, and you could easily crash land it backwards, if you tried to do things too soon. ``Tetra: Radio is clear for our movement. ``Master: 100 Km. ``Tetra: Orbit height. ``Master: Will Cosmo sink with the extra weight? ``Cheb: Good question, and I do not know. ``Master: If she does, I will go through and power her up. ``Cheb: Cosmo is 4 times as big, so it should be okay. Manual docking and drifting in on thrusters. Camera on, and she will sink down very gently [Clonk] ``Sadie: Relocking hatches. ``Cheb: Qaa thrusters, just let her pull herself away naturally. ``Master: She appears to be holding up, so we go onto thrusters?
