Control3, Master, Tetra, Vanna, ~ 04

{Interview 3: Control Tower ~ 4} - {Cont:}
``Vanna: I am Vanna and this is Master who has Test pilot status. Tetra is here as an observer, and she too has a full Hopper licence, and I am here to get to the bottom of this incident.
``Vanna3: How long had you been on duty?
``Control3: About 1-hour.
``Vanna3: How long had Hopper1 been on the Apron?
``Control3: Checking the logs, about 2-hours.
``Vanna3: Is there any time limit after being given permission to lift off, to actual take off?
``Control3: Zaa. 20 unites.
``Master3: Is this a standard regulation or an Algol special?
``Control3: I will go and dig the rules out for you.
``Vanna3: Zaa, and we will grab a drink. ---
``Control3: Here you are, and these are the Intergalactic rules, which stats 20 units.
``Master3: We need to know exact time of permission for lift off and the logged time of incident?
``Control3: About 28 units.
``Vanna3: `Quin, show us the view of SP1 as you see it.
``Control3: It is over to our left, down there [Points].
``Master3: Do they come in and turn around?
``Control3: Sometimes as they are supposed to land into wind.
``Tetra3: What was the wind status on the qef of the incident? ``Control: I could not say for sure, but it was reasonable calm that qef.
``Vanna3: Zaffre for your time. We are going Apron side to look at SP1, and we have full clearance. Zimo.

{Apron Side - SP1 ~ 3}
``Tetra: This makes an interesting story. ``Master: I did not know about the 20 minute rule, but people just go, so I have never been aware of it. ``Vanna: No one has mentioned it to me. ``Tetra: I presumed that you would have 5 minutes to lift off or you are grounded. ``Vanna: Here is SP1, and there is plenty of visibility and I can see the control tower. ``Master: The controller is waving back. ``Tetra: All the pads are in parallel and you can see them all. ``Master: the plot thickens. ``Vanna: So let us go and see the two Hoppers?

(Algol Hangar 6, and Crashed Hoppers ~ 3)
``Master: So this is Hopper 2, is in a right mess. ``Tetra: Hopper 1, was pushed sideways by the force and was tipped over onto its side. ``Vanna: It looks like a heavy landing to me. ``Master: I wanted someone else to say it. ``Tetra: This is the first time I have seen a crashed Hopper, but it has been flattened.

``Vanna: In that case we have enough evidence to write a report. ``Master: Go on, as we are out in the open and one else can listen in! ``Vanna: Basically Control, did not check to see that SP1 was clear before giving permission to Hopper2 to land. Hopper1, should have requested an extension of time, but did not know, a although you can land more than one Hopper on a Pad. Therefore it is not the Controls fault. Hopper1 neither did cause the actual accident. Hopper2 came in too fast, and did a quick turn around, to land on SP1 and that is why he did not see Hopper1 still on the Pad, and could not take evasive action. ``Master: Excellent. ``Tetra: I concur. ``Vanna: So it is Pilot error of Hopper 2. ``Master: Agreed. ``Tetra: Agreed. ``Master: You are buying dinner, and I want the works. ``Vanna: Let us go.
