Alien Escapade • Episode 0826 - The Movement: Albi, Malcolm, Leila, Master, Skipper, Tetra, Vanna, ~ 07 {Path Restaurant ~ 2 + Tetra + Albi} ``Albi: It must be a year since we have last seen each other. ``Tetra: Time moves on when you are enjoying yourself. ``Albi: Zaffre for seeing me. ``Tetra: Well you came along at the right time, as I am getting headaches from my Bearfriend. ``Albi: My Catfriend and I, decided that we were moving in different directions and could no longer help each other. ``Tetra: My Bearfriend cannot accept that he is not in control of the situation. Ah we have Food. ``Albi: Zarfs. I want to fly. ``Tetra: That makes a change. ``Albi: I have been keeping up to date on your progress. ``Tetra: It is a hectic life and you have to totally commit yourself to the cause. ``Albi: I have been to Hobbs City twice in the Saucer so I have some understanding. ``Tetra: Good answer, but can you cope with being in a claustrophobic ambient temperature, and with qaa daylight for 5 qefs? ``Albi: I want to try it. ``Tetra: It is not up to me, and it is a Team decision and you will be sussed out with interviews by the Medics. ``Albi: I have nothing to lose. ``Tetra: In that case, send another mail to Joya, subject Space Shuttle, with all the required documentation, and see what happens. ``Albi: Confirmed. ``Tetra: In the mean time I will mention it to Vanna. ``Albi: Zaffre. ``Tetra: This is a totally different lifestyle and not the common one in use, and most of your friends will change, so make sure you are ready before you apply, as it is your responsibility and not mine. ``Albi. I am more of an academic, than a practical, which my ex Catfriend is. ``Tetra: I had the same problem in reverse. ``Albi: How odd! ``Tetra: You realize that I am sometimes in charge on these trips, and the buck stops with me? ``Albi: Okay with me. ``Tetra: My parents will have to approve you! ``Albi: Even though you are 18? ``Tetra: I will be in 3 wesks time, but regardless of that. ``Albi: Okay. ``Tetra: My culture is different to yours, so you will have to blend in. ``Albi: Okay. ``Tetra: This is a warning to you now that things are changing as we speak, if you accept the consequences. ``Albi: You have certainly made that clear. ``Tetra: Good. I will pick up the tab, as I am off to Earth shortly. Zimo. ``Vanna: Do we need to meet at Space Dock, as you can transit on to Airbase? ``Master: What a good Idea, but I still have to sign in as Sibby. ``Vanna: Okay, then you can jump over here! ``Master: Unless I am staying at the Hotel, but I also have secured Apron parking. Are the hops getting you down? ``Vanna: Qaa, probably trying to be too powerful, but it was just a thought. ``Master: I also need to unwind. So when are we leaving for Earth? ``Vanna: About 15th time. ``Master: Shall we pop over to the Dam Restaurant? ``Vanna: Certus. {Cosmo1, Citadel in transit to Earth ~ 8} ``Master: Zenden folks. I see we have all made it up here in two hops in Ziggy. If all goes well, we should be landing on Earth in 14-hours. I will hand you over to Malcolm. --- ``Malcolm: Oh dear, there is no drawbridge! Master? ``Master: There is a drawbridge and it is in the hold, but it is not usually in use. There are 5 green lights, and they are on top of the normal transit door, at the back of the Saucer. I will show you. --- Going left to right, the first two are for the hatches, top and bottom; the middle one is for the drawbridge; and the fourth and fifth ones on the right are for the double transit door and seal. ``Malcolm. Zaffre. --- Okay we are ready for lift off! Oh dear not again, we are all ready to leave orbit. --- ``Leila: You certainly made a mess of that lot. ``Malcolm: How was I to know? ``Leila: It is your job to know. ``Malcolm: This is new to all of us and I have had no training. ``Leila: None of us have had training, we have to sit down and work through it all, and not expect things to be done for you, so you have failed again. ``Tetra: Course laid, and engines are stable in the orange zone. ``Master: Undocking orbit and zoom Skipper. ``Skipper: Aye, aye Master. Mach 18 and Hyperdrive is in. ``Master: Autopilot on. I wonder where Malcolm is with those drinks? ``Skipper: I think we ought to go to the Mess, and find out. --- ``Master: Where are our drinks, Malcolm? Cont.
