``Vanna: How much longer before you get to Scotty's? ``Gov: It should be through. ``Vanna: I need a separate test card for each part of the triangle. ``Gov: Certus, and I will arrange it, and that will mean; The Lodge; Shuttle Close; The Trullo; and The Bunker. ``Vanna: Make the test cards different, so they are easily recognizable. ``Gov: Okay. ``Vanna: Will you now start on the next spur to the Oligarchy Office? ``Gov: That is the plan. ``Vanna: Draw up a quote, to go from the Oligarchy back to the Fundus. ``Gov: Zaa. ``Vanna: Tetra has warned me that there are many Rills close to her Fundus, so how long before you reach her? ``Gov: Zarfs, I will pass it on, as long as this does not cause problems within a wesk.

``Boss: Zibo Vanna. ``Vanna: Zibo Boss, and a progress report quin. ``Boss: Both dishes are erected. The fixed one is on Algol and is functioning and this should be able to be transmitting through to your Trullo shortly. Your remote dish is working here, but we still have to interface the connection to your special cable box, so it to should start working shortly. I suggest you start on Algol with another test card, which is what we will do here. ``Vanna: It is the azimuth which may well be the problem, unless the dish can cope with such a change in angle. ``Boss: You have a 5m dish, so it should pull it all in. ``Vanna: I will need it and we are still waiting for Algol Sat 1 to regain stationary orbit, before it starts waking up. ``Boss: As soon as it starts to function again, we will uplink a signal for you. ``Vanna: Zarfs. I will let you know the compared frequencies shortly, when we know what works. Bear in mind, these are very low frequencies to what you are use to, so you may have problems as we are talking about 20 GHz so talk to Incus. ``Boss: That low? ``Vanna: This has caused us major problems and is why we are using this route. ``Boss: I will get our technical expert on this. I will mail you as soon a test card becomes operational. ``Vanna: Zarfs and zimo.

{Vanna's Trullo ~ 4}
``Tetra: We have the test card at Base, being Shuttle Close -|- `Vanna: I was thinking of a nick-name, and zaa, I like it, so the name 'Base' as from now on. ``Leila: It is an easier name. ``Tetra: I will do a search for signal strength and bingo, we have The Lodge up. ``Vanna: Marvellous. Mail Scotty, and tell him to switch his camera on. ``Tetra: Sent. I will start adding links to the Desk top. One for Base, which is working well, and one for the Lodge, but is incomplete. ``Leila: There is one, looking down towards his settlement. ``Tetra: I will do a further search --- Bingo, we have it. ``Vanna: Marvellous. Zoom in, and we can see some of the Beings moving around. ``Leila: What a sight to see. ``Vanna: What we will have to do is to put a hidden mirror up and reflect the signal back to his Lodge. ``Tetra: What a good idea. I will do it, if I get the chance. ``Vanna: I will commission you, but I did not say this. ``Leila: It was just a gimmick idea.

``Vanna: Try our special channel and do a search, because Boss said that he has aligned the dish on Algol New Sat 2. ``Tetra: What frequency? ``Vanna: low end. ``Tetra: Nothing so far. ``Vanna: what is the latest on old Sat 1? ``Tetra: I will wait until it is there, before I say any more. ``Vanna: Sensible, and they may have trouble uplinking. ``Tetra: You have mail. ``Vanna: You can make the drinks, whilst I have a read. --- ``Tetra: Drinks. ``Vanna: Nothing much. ``Tetra: So it is back to the waiting game. ``Leila: That is life for you. ``Tetra: I will come in after skool tomorrow, and see if anything else is working. ``Vanna: Zaa & Zimo. ``Leila: Zimo. --- ``Vanna: A mail in from Carrell. Subject - Re Visit. !!Dear Vanna, zaffre for yours and the Captain's response to an open invitation. I would be happy to accept your personal invite and I will get over on the next Eagle trip.
