Alien Escapade º Episode 0563 - The Arrangements: Captain, Jarry, Tetra, Vanna, Zola, ~ 05 {S182 Earth in transit to Citadel ~ 4} ``Jarry: Drawbridge up, 3 greens. Lift-off. ``Vanna: It seems empty in here. ``Zola: It is just the two of us and Tetra. How odd, but how nice. Vanna: I feel like we are all family, odd but even. ``Zola: Ha, ha. ``Jarry: Drinks, Cats. ``Vanna: Zarfs. I did talk to Mark and Sandy, and I thought we could bring them back with us on this trip, but we could not leave them to fend themselves for a week. ``Zola: Neither is there any spare room available in the Saucer. ``Vanna: Only one spare seat now. ``Zola: Tetra has quietened down a lot. ``Vanna: She has been good as gold. ``Zola: I feel we have some peace at last. ``Vanna: Will it last? ``Zola: I hope so, as we have a lot to do. ``Vanna: let us get some needed sleep. --- ``Jarry: Zila, zila. Food. ``Tetra: I was out cold. ``Zola: So were we. ``Tetra: I had some time with our Captain, and I have been reconsidering the plans for our control zone. Therefore can we do some more trips around Space Dock in your Hopper, quin? ``Vanna: Certus. Give me an official Order, then you can claim it back on expenses. ``Tetra: Can you add a camera? ``Vanna: We have bolted one on before, and you can help me try out the new beacon. ``Tetra: Certus. Will Leila come back with us on the next trip? ``Vanna: Only time will tell, but it appears to be promising in that direction. ``Tetra: Can I have approval to go up in the helicopter again with Pilot? ``Vanna: Zaa. ``Tetra: I want to take a better look at Earths canals. ``Vanna: Certus. ``Captain: We can go straight off to Planet-Q, in 2 qefs. ``Vanna: Wonderful, and I am pleased you have spared the time for Tetra. ``Captain: I must, and she is the only one who can comprehend things. ``Vanna: But do not let her run wild. ``Captain: Point noted. Anyway we will be landing in a few hours, and I am missing Qualla. ``Zola: How lovely. ``Captain: It will be night time when we get home. ``Vanna: Will you sign my log book again, quin as I want to try out the new beacon? ``Captain: Beacon, you mean you had one fitted? ``Vanna: Zaa, and we nearly did not find my Trullo last time, and would have had to return to Space Dock. ``Captain: That is the correct procedure, so it must have been an air pocket of extra cool air, as it did not show up in Space Dock. ``Vanna: I thought you overlooked it. ``Captain: Qaa. Okay, I have to go. ``Zola: He appears never to miss anything, although I think he does. ``Vanna: Apparently so. ``Tetra: We all miss something. ``Vanna: Sensible answer. ``Tetra: I want to come with you, night flying. ``Vanna: Stop rushing me! I will need a clear night, as it is not easy, and I am only allowed to go through light cloud, so we can do that first. ``Tetra: Zaa. I have skool holiday coming up, so I was thinking of going on the Hopper course at Space Cavern. ``Vanna: Brilliant sister. ``Zola: I too am going on it. ``Tetra: That is a surprise. ``Zola: I too have the bug. ``Vanna: We will have to fly down, but Pilot will pick you up in Bugby. ``Tetra: I will use their trainer and Hopper. ``Vanna: It is a long two day course, so stay there overnight. ``Tetra: I will. ``Zola: We might as well all be down there together. ``Tetra: Approved. ``Vanna; Approved. ``Zola: Oh well, that is settled, we have all been roped in. ``Vanna: We will leave you to arrange it all. ``Tetra: Agreed. ``Jarry: Drinks. It is almost landing time, as we have made good progress. --- ``Zola: We are down. ``Captain: I have stamped up your book and you have signed out, so you are free to go. ``Vanna: Zarfs. Zimo. --- We need to warm her up first for 5 units, because we are night flying. ``Zola: Okay. {Hops Nelly In transit to Trullo ~ 2} ``Vanna: We must do the check list, especially at night. ``Zola: Okay, but I am tired. ``Vanna: Danger zone time, and it is discipline, otherwise you will automatically fail the test, and you have to wait 3 months before you take it again, with more refresher courses. ``Zola: You win. How does the beacon work? ``Vanna: We just switch it on, and it will send a signal out and the directional indicator, should point us in the right direction when it receives back an echo. ``Zola: Check list completed, 5 units have elapsed. ``Vanna: Hopper to Dock, lifting off, over. ``Zola: What is the range? ``Vanna: 5Km. ``Zola: We go west and south?
