``Gina: There is a lot to consider, and I have added notes to help you on the list of things to do. ``Leila: That is normal. ``Gina: All the temperatures are set, so you should not have to worry. You must count everyone on and off, and clear up any mess. ``Leila: Typical. ``Gina: Naturally, you have to be polite at all times, although that can be rude as hell. ``Leila: I can cope with that. ``Gina: The important bit is the drawbridge, and you always go on the intercom and say ‘up or down drawbridge, as it is controlled from the upper deck. However, you must then make sure that the three green lights come on, and the amber ones have disappeared. Once you have the three greens, back onto the intercom and say ‘three greens’. Our crew can then lift off, at their discretion. ``Leila: If it comes on red, do we jump? ``Gina: Maybe.

``Leila: What food do we have? ``Gina: We only have beverages and fruit juice, and hot baps of two types which can change daily. You can start brewing as soon as you have cleared Space Dock Control Zone. That is about it. ``Leila: I will give it a go, as they are coming onboard now, and let us see what happens.

``Captain: Jarry, full cross check. ``Jarry: Zaa, Captain. ``Kirin: I am keen to know what the temperature gauge will do. ``Captain: Noted. ``Jarry: All clear. ``Kirin: All okay, lift off? ``Captain: Zaa. --- She lifted off okay, and Mach 4. ``Kirin: Can we go west to our Atlantic Coast? ``Captain: Certus. Jarry, tell them we are coming in. ``Jarry: Zaa. ``Captain: Okay Mach 8, which is our standard speed. ``Kirin: Mach 8 it is. Jarry, another cross check. ``Jarry: Zaa, Kirin. ``Captain: All okay? ``Kirin: Zaa. ``Captain: Mach 9. ``Kirin: I can feel the pressure. ``Jarry: All okay, but the atmosphere is a bit different. ``Captain: We too have felt it, try Mach 10. ``Kirin: Mach 10 it is, Jarry check those temperature gauges. Mach 11? ``Captain: Zaa, but what a different sensation. ``Jarry: It is almost weird. ``Captain: Mach 12. ``Kirin: Mach 12 it is. She certainly sounds different. ``Captain: Mach 13. ``Kirin: This is the first time, I have managed this speed. ``Captain: Let us hold it there, and we can try Mach 14, on our way back. ``Jarry: We should be at Atlantic Dock in about 4 minutes at this speed. ``Captain: Get permission to land. ``Jarry: Confirmed. ``Kirin: Slowing down to Mach 8. Blimey what a pressure drop. Now dropping to Mach 4. ``Jarry: You will overshoot if you keep this speed up. ``Kirin: Mach 0. ``Jarry: We have clearance to land on SP3. ``Kirin: Dropping down. Down. I could do with some refreshments. ``Captain: I will sign in and meet you in their restaurant.

{Atlantic Coast Dock Restaurant ~ 3}
``Kirin: That was a nice change for lunch. ``Captain: Any thoughts? ``Jarry: I think we have to get used to a different atmosphere. ``Kirin: I do not think the pressure drop is a problem, but we may have to adjust the ventilation settings. ``Captain: Zaa. The gravity changed as we increased and decreased our speed which was significantly higher. ``Kirin: I can smell that sea air. ``Jarry: It is very misty out there. ``Captain: Okay, it is time to get back, although I would have liked to stay, but another time, when we have more time.

``Jarry: We have clearance to lift off. ``Kirin: 10Km.``Captain: Mach 8. ``Jarry: Pressure change. ``Captain Mach 12. ``Kirin: I too can feel the pressure in my ears. ``Captain: Same here. Mach 14. ``Kirin: We appear to have Mach 14, check Jarry. ``Jarry: Confirmed, which means we will be home in just less than 1-hour. ``Captain: keep her whizzing, Kirin: ``Kirin: Zaa Captain. ``Jarry: I will call up the Tower sooner. ``Kirin: Captain, we will need extra time to slow down. ``Captain: Good Point. Jarry, time it. Mach 14 to Mach 8, and down to Mach 4 and then Mach 1. ``Jarry: We will need 10 Km + 4 Km = 14Km, to slow down. ``Captain: Okay, permission to land. ``Kirin: Dropping down. Down.
