``Tetra: Mum, are you sitting down? ``Selina: I will do! ``Tetra: I have some bad news, the Saucer has developed a fault in flight on route to Earth. ``Selina: Go on! ``Tetra: Hyperdrive has failed, but they are all fine.

{Onboard Saucer in flight to Earth ~ 4}
``Kirin: Ready Captain. ``Captain: Good, but remember keep calm at all times, and make sure you have both hooks connected to the anchor points. ``Kirin: Zaa, Sir. ``Captain: Skipper, explain to Jarry what you are doing and keep it on the display. ``Skipper: Zaa, Sir. We will go through the check list together, as I have not done this before on the S182. ---``Jarry: All sections secured Captain. ``Kirin: Permission to go into airlock. [In airlock] Inner door closed. Oxygen checked, opening outer door. --- Wow this is an experience. --- [Clipping on hooks] --- Okay I am at the top. Opening the compartment hatch now. --- Can you see Captain? ``Captain: Confirmed, you are looking good? ``Kirin: Skipper, what do I need to do? ``Skipper: Check the two safety switches, and operate them. ``Kirin: They appear to be fine, and I cannot see any damage. ``Captain: Same here. ``Skipper: There is little more in the manual. So it appears it does not know what else to do next. There is a glass gas module towards Starboard, what colour is it? ``Kirin: Red: ``Skipper: Captain with your approval we can bring him back in? ``Captain: Confirmed. ``Skipper: Okay Kirin, close the hatch and come back inside. ``Kirin: Zaa sir, and it is a nice view. --- Entering outer air lock door [In air lock] Closed outer door, pressurizing. ``Captain: Keep your helmet on with oxygen supply, until you are fully onboard. ``Kirin: Zaa, Captain. --- I am able to open Inner door. ``Jarry: Instruments reading normal Captain. ``Captain: All clear, Kirin. --- ``Jarry: I will give you a hand. ``Kirin: These suits are always clumsy, but that was an amazing experience. ``Captain: Well done Kirin. Skipper, go and look in on our passengers, and we will try start up procedure. ``Skipper: Zaa, Sir.

{Space Dock + Ming + Qualla ~ 3}
``Radio: We know very little about what is happening. We believe that everyone is okay. Space Cavern is in flight for Earth and the Morse messages are saying they are checking everything. They should be able to make Earth in 2.5 qefs, as they were nearly there. ``Ming: That would mean it would take 54 qefs to get home! ``Qualla: Confirmed and zaffre for calling me in. ``Ming: I concur, so all we can is wait? ``Radio: It may be a long wait, so go and see Kara. The relief Pilot is on her way. ``Ming: Come on Qualla I need a stiff drink.

{Onboard Saucer in flight towards Earth - Upper Deck ~ 4}
``Skipper: Kirin could not find anything wrong, as you all could see on the display. Therefore we are going to try a full restart, but if that fails, it means a strip down. --- ``Kirin: I am using the full check list, so it will take a few units, so help me through it. ``Jarry: Certus: --- ``Kirin: Ready Captain! ``Captain: Zaa. ``Kirin: Permission to start Hyperdrive? ``Captain: Approved. ``Kirin: [Presses button] - [bang, bang, bang] Oh well, it was worth a try. Permission to have a break Captain? ``Captain: Skipper, come to the Upper Deck quin, and you can stay with the passengers for a while. ``Kirin: Zarfs Captain. ``Skipper: Zaa, sir. Take over in here, and lock the door. I and Jarry will be checking out the unit, against the manual. Leave the intercom and video cameras on, and send some more Morse messages back as Pilot will be listening.

``Captain: I need something hot! ``Jarry: A canine bap? ``Captain: fine. ``Kirin: Same for me. The manual is thick, but we do have fotos and drawings, and the special tool kit. There is also reference to special procedure in flight. ``Captain: That is what we need, as I am concerned about doing this live and in flight. ``Kirin: How does this work? ``Captain: The cavity acts as a wave guide. If the wall has cracked, then that is the cause of the problem. ``Kirin: That means inspection, but we do not have any spare parts. Cont.
