Two visits to Earth were enough for me. ``Jarry: that is because it is too cramped and is one of the major reasons why we are having a newer Saucer. ``Gina: New Saucer? ``Jarry: We have had a test run in an 11-seater. ``Gina: That is more like it. That will make a difference. ``Jarry: Not too much, but we should get the Earth run down to 16th time. ``Gina: That might crack the problems. ``Jarry: So you are interested after all? ``Gina: There was nowhere to hide, even with a partition.

{Qualla’s Place ~ 2 + Kern}
``Kern: I hear there is a planning application for modifications to Space Dock! ``Qualla: That has now been made public. ``Kern: So what is all the secrecy all about? ``Qualla: There is none, but they are rolling everything into one application. ``Kern: Crafty! What else is being done? ``Qualla: Caught you out again! An extension to the café. ``Kern: That is a good idea. What else? ``Qualla: Something even bigger! ``Kern: Your balloon! ``Qualla: That is an idea, and I will look into that. ``Kern: Are you going to tell me? ``Qualla: Qaa. It has not been released yet and it will give you something else to do or moan at. ``Kern: Zarfs a lot.

{Elders Special Meeting ~ 5}
``Elder 1: Before we start this meeting, we should show our appreciation to the earthling’s team for what they have achieved [Claps]. ``Elder 3: This application is complex, and although a genuine requirement, I feel that some of the earthlings morals are wearing off on us. In principle subject to approval, it is a sneaky way around on how they have managed to get everyone onboard at the same time. Therefore we have a full meeting, and I think we ought to vote on this in sections. ``Elder 3:
Section 1) The modifications to Space Dock --- Show of hands --- Approved.
Section 2) The Upgrading of our Saucer --- Show of hands --- Approved.
Section 3) Since this report has been circulated, the Girls have agreed that there is no rush to implement any further liaison with China for the time being. However, they would like an initial acceptance that they can have another meeting in due course. --- Show of hands --- Approved.
Section 4) Another earthling has asked to come up and visit us, and Sandy has helped to harbour Zola, when she was on Earth, when the Girls went off to the place called China for three qefs. --- Show of hands --- Approved. Zaffre all. Any questions? ``Elder 6 - Jove: Can we not afford to keep both Saucers? ``Elder 1: What does our Treasurer have to say? ``Elder 4: The funds will take it, but we have to think of the overall costs. The local crew, will have to be trained up for the S182, and we should be able to get more runs in. Therefore it is time to let someone else have a good Saucer who cannot afford a bigger one. ``Captain: I would like to keep both, but there are too many obstacles of maintenance, and it would mean more personnel, but zaffre for the suggestion

{Captain’s Place ~ 2 + Qualla}
``Qualla: You are quite a schemer when you get going! ``Yanan: You have to be, because everything can be done in one go; and all under one budget. ``Qualla: I am not complaining, and I do agree in this case. ``Yanan: Take the Space Dock Committee, they would hum and ha over it for weeks, but if we get planning permission first, then it should go through easily. Anyway I also want to add another tank so we can drain the fuel, and that would not normally get through! ``Qualla: I take your point onboard, and although it is cheeky, you have got your planning mission. ``Yanan: So where are we going? ``Qualla: I fancy the Twin Peaks restaurant again, so can we go there please? ``Yanan: Certainly.
