``Qualla: Zibo. I need to lodge an ‘emergency meeting’ quin, but initially only with the main committee? ``Elder 3: Agreed, let me check the agenda Qualla --- Will tomorrow afternoon be okay? ``Qualla: Confirmed. Here is the full tablet report for consideration. ``Elder 3: Zarfs. I will contact you on confirmation, as soon as I have had approval. ``Qualla: Zarfs.

{Elders Emergency Meeting ~ 4}
``Elder 3: Thank you all for responding so quickly. And it is fortunate that you were all available to come in. Can I please confirm that everyone here has read Qualla’s report? [Zaa’s] Does anyone, have anything else to say or add quin? [Qaa’s] Therefore, are you all in initial approval, which includes me, that some action needs to be taken? [Zaa’s] In which case, it is the job of the Chairman to give his directions and to outline his recommendations. --- All Agree? [Zaa’s]. Over to Chair.

``Elder 1: Friends, I do thank Qualla for bringing this to my attention, and although some of our society does not approve of our alien friends, owing to ethics, and some say it is against the ‘rules of the Cosmos’, but I cannot let that cloud the issue in this particular case. Elder 3, worked late yesterday to check all the records back and she was able to confirm that Elder 09 had sent a communiqué for a ‘verification notice’.

This is why the Hierarchy had to investigate, which means that Elder 09 has created his own problem! He is entitled to have his views at all times, which is not questionable. However, what is wrong is that he did go behind our backs, although I can understand why on this occasion, as he knew that we would overrule him. Moreover In my view, this was not a good decision he made, and therefore we have two options open to us:

1} Have a full meeting with Elder 09 in the hot seat, to explain his reasoning.
2} Make a non-retractable decision now, on the outcome.
Elder 3: Can I please have a show of hands, for Option 1 for a full meeting? --- Qaa! None. --- Therefore can I please have a show of hands, that we will take internal action? --- Zaa! Unanimous decision. ``Elder 1: In the light of this case, I will make a decision on what I believe should be done, but I will put it to the final vote! Whereas, I believe that Elder 09 should be relieved from duty! ``Elder 3: Another show of hands quin all those in favour? --- Unanimous decision, Chair. ``Elder 1: Will you please explain the procedure, Jota. ``Elder 3: Zaa. I will send a memo with immediate effect that he has been suspended from all his duties as an Elder. In addition, we expect his resignation by return. A copy will go out to all Elders.

The final stage is to advise the twelve (which include the three independents) that we will have an Extraordinary General Meeting within six qefs, to select a new Elder. Are you all in favour? --- Unanimous. --- Elder 1: Thank you all for coming at short notice, but please talk to us even if we do not like the outcome, as it’s our responsibility although we cannot please everyone, especially under this set of unusual circumstances. ``Elder 3: Meeting closed. Drinks and chats in the small hall.

{Elders – Reception ~ 5}
``Elder 1: Zaffre Qualla. ``Qualla: Zarfs Gera, and I am mailing, Scotty with the news. --- [Mailed] !!Dad: Wonderful! !!Wendy: Meeting approved. --- ``Wendy: !!Dad, that was quick. It’s approved. ``Leila: That was too easy! ``Wendy: In your understanding, he has got the sack. ``Leila: Wow! So lets have another meeting now to discuss things? ``Wendy: Standby! --- !!Dad: Standby! [He mail’s Qualla back for new meeting?] ``Qualla: Approved, 18th time. --- !!Dad: Approved! ``Wendy: We had better get fire watch done, as they will be here at six. ``Leila: Okay, but what else can we bring up, as we now have them on our side? ``Wendy: You are not on Earth now, so forget it, as everything else can wait. ``Leila: I know! Patience.
